OAK9 – CLIENT STORY

3RT's contact with the client started in a Facebook group on AI-related topics. Mindaugas Jokūbaitis, director of OAK9 Entertainment, one of the leading creative studios in Lithuania, which develops animated films and games for a global audience, was looking for advice on a high-performance workstation computer system with GPU accelerators, and the 3RT team was quick to consult him. Faced with the need for an unconventional solution, the animation creators opted for 3RT due to its agile approach and ability to quickly work out the offer's details. 

 PROBLEM: 

 A company was looking to purchase an infrastructure for 3D animation production using EU funding. 

 SOLUTION: 

 ♦ Two Gigabyte G492-Z51 servers were delivered with eight NVIDIA RTX A6000 and eight RTX 6000 Ada GPU accelerators. 

♦ To optimise the performance of the customer's infrastructure, we efficiently managed the budget. By using the NVIDIA Inception discount and ordering brand-new GPU accelerators, the customer could purchase two powerful servers at the optimal price. 

♦ We handled the entire process, from architecting the solution to delivering and installing the equipment. 

♦ In addition, a powerful workstation PC with the most potent AMD Ryzen ThreadRipper 5995WX processor at the time and a GeForce 4090 24GB GPU accelerator was ordered, assembled, tested and delivered to the client.
